Comment Policy

I love comments and interaction with my readers! I want Designed to Draw Near to be a safe place for all readers. This means we agree to treat each other with respect at all times. We can disagree with a perspective and still honor the other commenters and author. I encourage dialog and questions in the spirit of understanding and listening to others. We want to edify others and add value to the conversation.

If your comment does not follow our comment policy, it will be removed. Continuous abuse of the policy will result in permanent ban of the IP address, domain, and the email used. The following are NOT tolerated and will be flagged as SPAM:

  • Keywords stuffed in the name field. Please use your name or nickname for commenting.
  • Fake emails. Use a valid email, which will not be published
  • Responses in a non-English language.
  • Any unkind or abusive talk (attacking, name-calling, blaming, shaming, offensive or crude language, and meanness, etc.) Designed to Draw Near is a “family friendly site” with a goal to create a a friendly, SAFE community for all.
  • Comments which does not add to the conversation, run off on an inappropriate tangent, or kill the conversation may be edited, moved, or deleted.
  • Sales pitches or links to sales pages or multiple links in a comment. DO NOT sign your comments with a backlink to your site. They will be removed.
