Coming out of the Fog into Magnificent Hope!

Where have I been?

I had great ambitions for my blog for this year, and yet, my posting has been haphazard and infrequent. (My apologies to those who have been following me!)

In part, I have been rethinking the best way to share what is on my heart in a way that is meaningful for my readers and conveys the deep things I am learning about knowing God in the process.

I have also been in a season with many personal involvements reaching a more intense level—all at the same time! My treadmill has sped up and I have been taking care of the urgent present realities while looking longingly at some of the things I put aside for a season.

New focus

Sometimes, that forced break brings greater clarity of focus and more determination to press on with the calling, either in the original form or in a revised version.

Although I still will share treasures I am gleaning from the Scriptures, I will use smaller portions for the focus of each blog. I started last fall with some posts on Ephesians in the form of a Bible study. I continue completing the formal work (see below for more on that) and will break down the blog articles into more focused commentary on a particular passage.

The more I look at Scripture, including the original Greek and Hebrew words, cross-references, and some other references, the more I realize that our God is so much more magnificent and multi-layered than I could ever imagine! Truly, His word is Life in the fullest sense, and He loves for us to seek understanding in relationship with Him.

Every time I ponder God’s word, my heart and head fill up with glorious truth that is so powerful! I often feel undone at the glory He is revealing and I yearn to share it with others! I am convinced that taking hold of the spiritual realities within the Bible brings us to abiding freedom in Christ much faster than some traditional healing paths.

I so want this for myself and my friends! What about you?

Can you tell I get a little excited about Scriptures?

The Surpassing Greatness of God’s Power

Now, about the formal Bible study. I named it The Surpassing Greatness of God’s Power. Throughout Ephesians, we have extraordinary statements of who we are in Christ and even more astounding declarations of God’s love, power, and glory in us. Jump to the free offer.

This study delves deeply into these two truths to expel the lies we often believe that hold us back from becoming the people God has designed us to be. Sometimes, we are obstructed by deceptions that tell us that “I am not worthy” or “those things are true for others but not me”.

I realize that when I hold on to the lies, I keep myself in a state of perpetual immaturity, spiritually and emotionally. Thus, I miss out on the glories God has in store for me and I deny others the unique ways the Lord wants to work through me.

Ephesians holds vast treasure and truths which cut through the stuff of the world and the fiery darts of the evil one and implores believers to take hold of God’s life. Doing so is transformational to the individual and, ultimately, to the world.

A few women have been working through the study with me and we are astounded at the beautiful work God is doing in our hearts! Listen to what one sister is saying.

I gained much healing and intimacy with my Beloved Jesus while working through my traumas with Him to prepare for each class. I am forever grateful that the Lord gave you a Bible study to write to continue our healing journey together.

As I learned the hidden treasures you helped us dig out in the study the Lord was working on how I see myself and who I am to Him. He used this Bible study to restore my lost/stolen identity! . . . With the work He had you do, the hard ground in my jaded heart was turned to fertile soil to receive His love and healing and He has released me from the spirit of rejection and abandonment!

All this worked together in a powerful way to set me free and help me step into my identity in Him. As I continue in your Bible study, I’m gaining true connections with people, my fears, anxiety and feeling like an outsider, no matter where I go, are gone!

Free weekly Bible Study

As of this writing, I have completed Chapters 1-4, comprised of ten sections and an introduction. If you are interested in receiving a free, weekly lesson emailed to you, click here for the contact and write Ephesians study in the subject line. Every Monday, I will send you the next lesson until the study is complete.

By the way, my ladies’ group has rarely finished a lesson in one week. We get involved in deep, soul-moving conversations and sometimes only cover one or two portions. If you want to take it more slowly, feel free. I will still send the lessons so you have them when you are ready.

This is not a typical fill-in-the-blanks endeavor. You will embark on a holy journey that reveals your current mindset and shows who you can be with the mind of Christ. The Lord is drawing you into something far more intense in your spiritual walk than you likely ever dreamed possible.

Be forewarned! This study will bring unexpected encounters with the Living God and may radically change your life! Proceed with care unless you REALLY desire freedom and truth for a new way of living as God intended!

If this resonates with you, request the free study now and ask the Holy Spirit to gently guide you on this incredible adventure!

[I am] confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Philippians 1:6

I always love to hear from my readers. Does this post stir any heart yearnings in you? Does your soul long to walk in victory over the past? Do you wish to find greater purpose in your spiritual life?
