Reminders of The ONE who has overcome the darkness
My dear friend,
Do you know how valuable you are? Jesus has given you everything of Himself so that you may walk in the abundance of His life and He may conform you into His likeness.
He wants you to walk in victory and the fullness of His power so that you will accomplish His purposes for your life.
Consider two attributes represented by a scented candle: Light and fragrance. Both are intrinsic qualities of His nature that He freely bestows upon His Beloved.
In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.
There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.So Jesus said to them, “For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you.
I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.
While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of Light.”“Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH LIKE THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.“

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. By this, we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us reveals the fragrance of the knowledge of Him in every place.
For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing: to the one an aroma4 from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life.

I pray that in this coming year, the Lord will shine as an irrefutable light of life to you and His glorious light and fragrance will manifest powerfully in all that you do. May these evidences of His love, mercy, and grace draw people to the true Light who alone is Life.
